Academy – Nomen Omen

The term "Academy" derives from the homonymous locality near Athens, where Plato founded his school in 387 BC. Subsequently, the word became synonymous not only with the Platonic philosophical school, but also with the entire heritage of doctrines and thought that arose from it.

Over time, the term has been extended to indicate:

• a permanent community of scholars, governed by a statute and dedicated to promoting science, literature, and the arts;
• institutions of higher education, especially in the fields of art, thought or technology;
• physical places of research, teaching and knowledge sharing;
• training centers, even abroad, for artists and researchers.

An unprecedented vision

For the first time in the history of humanity, an Academy becomes itinerant, hosted aboard a vessel. An ancient, noble and profound concept is renewed, sailing towards new horizons - free, fluid, open to the world and its changes.

Academy as an ethical commitment

If an Academy is truly a place dedicated to the most refined studies and inner evolution, then those who found and lead it have the responsibility to embody its values: ethics, seriousness, independence of thought, care of the body and nourishment for the mind.

In our case, the Reiki Energy Academy is nomen omen: the name is a destiny, a footprint, a promise.

A place — and at the same time a journey — where knowledge, experience and spirituality meet. An Academy that is not static, but lives, moves and transforms, just like the energy it teaches and transmits.
