During the first teachings of the first level, the following will be taught in the two days of the course: FIRST DAY History and origins of Reiki Meaning of the kanji "Reiki" What is traditional Japanese Reiki Reiki-Do (the way of Reiki) The Practices: Gokai: The Principles of Reiki Gokai Sansho: The practice of reciting the five principles of Reiki recited out loud, at least three times, every day, in addition of course to the integration of the principles into everyday life. Gyosei: The existence of waka poems created by Emperor Meiji used to "purify the spirit" during the practice of Hatsurei Ho and in periodic meetings, although it is believed that they are a posthumous addition made by the members of the Gakkai. Gassho Mudra: the gesture of the hands joined and the consequent Gassho Meiso meditation taught with different variations based on the experience of the student, also practiced as part of other meditations (Hatsurei ho). In some cases a particular method of breathing from the hands (Gassho Kokyu ho) is taught. The Techniques: Ten-no Kata: self-treatment technique Taikyoku Kata: technique of treatment to others
SECOND DAY Joshin Kokyu ho meditation techniques: Soul Purification Breath. The first of the meditations in a structured path that leads to Personal Perfection in the Spiritual Method of Mikao Usui. In some schools, such as the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai, it is instead part of the "Hatsurei Ho". Makoto no Kokyu ho: Breathing exercise for the definition of the Hara. In some schools with the same name it is called the "truth breathing", even if in reality it is the second part of the exercise. Nentatsu ho: Technique for changing habits linked to one of the positions of the head in traditional treatment. In the West, only the version with the symbols of the second level is known as "mental treatment" (S. Chiryo-ho). The Techniques: Kenyoku ho: Dry Bath, technique for the immediate renewal of personal energy, purification and centering. It can be practiced as a technique in itself or at the beginning or end of a treatment or as part of other techniques (Hatsurei Ho). Connected to the Blood Exchange technique (see Ketsueki Kokan ho), it is one of the practices taught directly by Mikao Usui. Shuchu Reiki - the group treatment also practiced in West. Western group treatment normally involves three practitioners treating one person, while in Shuchu there is no limit to the number of practitioners (even 39 351 5048737 on a single person. Reiki Mawashi – The Reiki Circle. The circle can have different meanings and applications both in the version taught by Hayashi / Takata Reiki, and in traditional Japanese techniques. In the Takata lineage Reiki it is structured as a connection between masters and practitioners that is established at the beginning and end of seminars and meetings, but also as a moment of public sharing of experiences. In the Japanese lineage it is both a technique to directly perceive the movements of energy between practitioners, (the Reiki current) especially before and after the Reiju, but also as a real practice and treatment. Renzoku Reiki – the Reiki “marathon” that involves treating a single person continuously for several hours, even entire days, with individual practitioners alternating the treatment one after the other or in groups.Reiki Undo – (undo = exercise), also called the “Dance of Energy” It is a technique that allows the body to freely follow the waves of Reiki energy, which begins to produce spontaneous movements, listening to what is needed for the person's healing, and of course not only on a physical level. Introduced by Mrs. Kimiko Koyama, the sixth president of the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai, it has always been practiced in many other disciplines.
