Reiki courses

Basic Elements Reiki, founded in Japan in the early 1900s, aims to support you on a journey of self-discovery. We invite you to our courses that offer various unique styles of Reiki, as studied by the founder of the Reiki Energy Academy, Valerio Curti. If your interest is to go back to the original teachings before they were distorted by Western and new age manipulations, then these courses are for you! Our four Reiki levels include a combination of study and in-person training to ensure students receive thorough training before moving on to the next level. In addition to that, students are always given the opportunity to attend regular practice groups. There are three main levels in the system and one specific course for masters but we also offer transition and realignment courses for those who trained elsewhere before coming to us. Reiki Energy Academy Courses The difference between Reiki Energy Academy courses and regular Reiki courses is that the initiation process, course information and techniques we teach are the original ones directly from Japan rather than those from the West. The teachings also have a different focus than the current forms of the Reiki system. Our focus is only on self-development and spirituality. The goal of the Reiki Energy Academy is to connect all practitioners to the one true spiritual depth of Reiki. Reiju, Reiki activation Rejiu means both "giving spirituality" and "receiving spirituality" and both are valid for Reiki activation. Now we need to define what spirituality is: if new age Reiki defines it as a connection with the Energy Universal, Usui Reiki and the one practiced by the Reiki Energy Academy consider it as a reconversion to Divine Energy. What for Christians is the Holy Spirit, and for other traditions the Divine Vital Principle. Hence, activation consists in awakening a ability to awaken our inner divine consciousness: to re-tune ourselves to this potential hidden in every living being, there is therefore a need for an awakening, which can take place during a ceremony, as a sort of initiation, in which a qualified Reiki Master. Reiki activation differs according to levels and teachers. Therefore, the Master is fundamental for the millenary knowledge that is expressed through him c he activates the Energy. The Master opens the energy channels of the initiating and at the same time takes upon himself his negative karma or part of it, thus allowing the student an evolutionary leap. These ceremonies have a dimension of sacredness and secrecy, as the ritual and the formulas are transmitted only orally, from Master to Master. Length of Courses All Reiki courses at the Reiki Energy Academy include in-person classes where students attend seminars and follow-up teaching and study. Traditionally, each of these courses has been understood to be only an introduction to the level - as a result ongoing support of an extremely high standard is offered to all Reiki Energy Academy students. Certification Students receive their certificates after completing both in-person training and follow-up teaching and study.
